Gertrude "Trudy" Hajduk's Obituary
Gertrude “Trudy” Hajduk passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the home of her daughter in Medford Lakes, NJ, surrounded by her loving family. She was 96 years old.
Born in Flushing, NY, to the late John and Lillian Manning, Trudy spent the last 30 years as a resident of Palm Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Lillian Manning.
Trudy was the beloved wife of the late Walter J. Hajduk and the devoted mother of Maryann Hajduk, Ellen (James) Mackle, and Walter J. Hajduk III. She was a cherished Mom-Mom and Grandma to Sam Hajduk, Max Hajduk, and Alex Mackle.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, May 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ 08055. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chews Landing, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Basilica of St. Edwards, Palm Beach, FL or St Mary of the Lakes Church, Medford, NJ.
