Gertrude M. Marcozzi's Obituary
Gertrude M. Marcozzi (nee Maier) passed away peacefully on August 13, 2017 at her residence in Cinnaminson surrounded by her loving family. Born in Camden, Gertrude was 82 years old. She was a resident of Cinnaminson since 1969.
Beloved wife of 59 years to Anthony P. Marcozzi, Sr. Loving mother of Maria (Anthony) Jacoby, Anthony P. (Dara) Marcozzi, Jr. and Diane (Todd DiPrima) Marcozzi. Cherished MomMom to Jacqueline, Christine, Nina, Stephanie, Anthony, III and Daniel.
Sister of William (Ginny) Maier, the late Henry Maier, the late Frederick Maier, the late Francis Maier, the late James Maier, the late Joseph Maier and the late Victoria Maier.
Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Marcozzi was a long time member of the St. Charles Borromeo Parish. She was employed by the Cinnaminson Schools, was an office manager of the Law Firm of Marcozzi and Marcozzi and she also worked for the Saturday Evening Post.
Gertrude enjoyed spending time with her sorority sisters, playing cards, decorating and was a fabulous cook. Most of all, Gertrude was dedicated to her entire family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gertrude’s Life Celebration and viewing Friday 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church Branch Pike & Pomona Road Cinnaminson. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church 2226 Riverton Rd. Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.
