Gladerby Bredy's Obituary
Gladerby Bredy passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 10, 2024 as a result of motorcycle accident. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Fritz and Gladys Bredy, Gladerby was 32 years old. He was a resident of the South Jersey and Philadelphia area since 2006.
Loving son of Fritz and Gladys Bredy, beloved brother of Raldina Bredy and Joe Schwemlein. Uncle of our nephew, Astro Schwem-Bredy. Also surviving are his paternal family members which includes Grandfather Leandre Bredy, Grandmother Paulette Desouvre, Aunt Magaly Metellus, Aunt Andeline, Uncle Erwins Ader. Great-Uncle Sylla and cousins. Uncle Joseph Lionel Bredy and Aunt Edith Bredy. Cousins Darryl and Lyndie Bredy. Aunt Sagine and Uncle Samuel. Aunts Igenie Bien Aime, Antoinette Francois, Michelle Theagene and their children Gerard Francois, Ricky Francois, Stephanie Bien Aime, and Darnel Theagene.
Additionally, his Maternal family members include: Cousins Yannelie Vertus, Erica Martin, Minerva Tunis and Teddy Payen, Chantal Jean Baptist, Edwich and Louvens Francoeur, Kervens Francoeur.
Gladerby was known as Bibi in his close circle and often referred to as such by his close friends Odane, Vzay, Didier, and Denzel. Bibi was also the loving partner of Destiny Gilliand and referred to as “Dad” by her son, Evan, and daughter, Arya.
Gladerby was employed as a teacher’s aide at Y.A.L.E. School in Cherry Hill. He was a member of the Haitian Baptist Church in Burlington. He loved to go snowboarding during the winter and swimming at a pool or the beach in the summer. He was a passionate fan of the Eagles football team and the Argentinian soccer team. He was a dedicated and avid video game player, often vowing to destroy his opponents for as long as it took. Gladerby enjoyed his motorcycle, despite the disapproval of his parents, Fritz and Gladys. Bibi also loved to celebrate life, listen to music and dance his heart out. Gladerby will be remembered as a radiant light who lit up many lives and effortlessly found his way in many hearts.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, August 31st from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Haitian Baptist Church 203 Sunset Road Burlington, NJ. Gladerby’s Funeral Service will begin at 10 a.m.
Burial will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson,NJ.
