Glenn Keen's Obituary
Glenn Keen, a cherished and devoted son, husband and dad, went to rest in the arms of his heavenly father on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Glenn, the son of Reynolds Keen and Barbara Pilla was born on March 16, 1970 in Camden, New Jersey and was a graduate of Lenape High School in 1988. On October 29, 1995, Glenn married the love of his life and wife of 26 years, Paula Balsamo.
In 1995, Glenn and Paula opened their Italian restaurant, Cucina Carini. With the opening of Cucina Carini, Glenn and Paula would have the opportunity to be together with their sons, Vincenzo and Anthony, at the restaurant while building the future of their family and becoming part of the Mt. Laurel community.
Glenn is known for his strength, humility, and down-to-earth nature. He worked passionately throughout his life with his love and devotion to Paula, Vincenzo and Anthony as his guiding force in all things.
Glenn is survived by his beloved wife Paula; sons Vincenzo and Anthony; parents Reynolds and Barbara Keen; Gary Keen and wife Diane, 5 nieces, 3 nephews; mother-in-law Angela Balsamo, brother-in-law Vincenzo Balsamo and his Rita; sister-in-law, Rosella Anderson and her husband David Anderson, Jr. Preceding Glenn in death, is his father-in-law, Vito Balsamo.
Services for Glenn will be held on Thursday September 8th at Sacred Heart Church in Riverton, located at 103 4th Street in Riverton. Beginning with a viewing from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m., Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park In Cinnaminson.
Glenn’s life and deeds embodied the word “family”, and his legacy will live on forever through his wife, sons and all who know and love him.
