To my most wonderful sister Gretchen, you were always loved by all especially by me. You did so much good for others that you earned a Godly promotion to the next level of existence even if the human part of us cried out saying no don't go but the Almighty God knows better and in return He has bestowed many blessings and silver linings for those of us left behind to complete our journey. You two were on duty! Gretchen cared for my daughter Carolyn in 2017 at HUP: she gave Carolyn loving care; I’m so happy I caught up with her and could laugh once again, remembering fun times in the SICU. God Bless her soul and you, Pat, and your entire family❤️😃

Gretchen you are a sweetheart and a very good friend to my daughter Jennifer.
My nicest memory was our trip to Notre Dame. Especially driving back to Chicago to go home. I stopped and got you both a Happy Meal at a McDonald’s on the highway. You both took over the nice room and I had the couch at the hotel.
Thank you for giving me the honor to meet, know and communicate with you, especially in your tough times.
