Halida Handzic's Obituary
Halida Handzic (nee Karadzic) passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in Bloomingburg, NY. Born in Sanica, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Halida was 54 years old. She was a former resident of Cinnaminson, NJ. Beloved wife of 36 years to Jasmin (Jack) H. Handzic. Loving mother of Selma Handzic and Dino (Amanda Pentecost) Handzic. Beloved daughter of Subha and the late Dzelil Karadzic. Halida cherished her grand dogs Leo and Richie. Halida was employed as a distribution worker for McKesson Pharmaceutical Company in Montgomery, NY.
Halida loved and adored her family and friends. Her contagious smile and laugh would light up any room. She enjoyed spending time traveling with family and friends, cooking, baking, gardening and was an animal lover of all kinds. One of her greatest joys in life was cooking for others and spending time with those she loved most.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
