Bill was a true friend to the animals. He dedicated much of his life to the care of all animals. He was extremely generous in his care and feeding and never failed to respond to the needs of any one of God's creatures. If Bill saw an injured or even deceased animal on the highway, he would always stop and pick it up. On one occasion, while traveling on Rt. 41 in Cherry Hill, he stopped to pick up a lifeless raccoon in the middle of the street so that he could bury it. After driving a short time, to his great surprise, the raccoon sprang to life in his back seat. Bill brought the animal to the Cherry Hill Animal Hospital to be cared for. In addition to his loving family and friends, he will be greatly missed by the animals.
