Harry E. Giberson Sr.'s Obituary
Harry E. Giberson, Sr. passed away peacefully on Monday,
August 29, 2016, at his residence in Lenola surrounded by his
family. Born in Bordentown, Harry was 88 years old. He was a lifelong resident of Lenola.
Harry was a former truck driver for Perla Block Company in Moorestown after 35 years of employment. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and camping. In 1949 Harry joined the Lenola Fire Company. His years of Service include: Delegate Burlington County Fireman's Association 1961-1962, Vice President 1962-1963, 2nd Assistant Chief 1962-1965, 1st Assistant Chief 1963, Director 1963-1974, President 1964-1968, Battalion Chief 1971-1973, Fire Marshall 1959-1967 and Fire Commissioner District #2 1970-1974. Harry was Captain Lenola Fire Police. He is the current President of the Fireman's Exempt Association.
Beloved husband of 68 years to Catherine L. (nee Haines) Loving
father of Harry, E. Jr. (Judith), John F. (Kathy) David A. (companion Rhonda) and Kathryn (Anthony) Tursi. Poppy of 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Brother of Naomi Jean Bellis and Jeanette (Charlie) Morris. Relatives and friends are invited to Harry’s Life Celebration and viewing Monday Eve 6-9 p.m. at Tuesday 10-11 a.m. at Inglesby
Givnish’s of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street followed by his service at 11 a.m.
Interment Junior Mechanics Cemetery, Lumberton, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lenola Fire Company, Lenola Emergency Squad and/or Samaritan Health and Hospice Care.
