Harry Anthony Rocco's Obituary
Harry Anthony Rocco, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away on October 6, 2024. Born in Bristol, PA to the late Anthony and Carmela (nee Giagnacova) Rocco, he was 80 years old.
Harry was the beloved husband of Anne Marie Rocco (nee Kearney); loving father of Christopher Rocco (Stephanie) and Elizabeth Rocco; cherished grandfather of Ava and Audrey; dear brother of Phyllis McLaughlin (Thomas). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
Harry was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School and earned his degree from LaSalle College in 1966. His commitment to education and community was evident throughout his life. Harry dedicated his professional career to the Willingboro, NJ public school system. Starting as a passionate math teacher, he inspired many students with his love for learning. His leadership skills led him to serve as both an elementary school principal and high school assistant principal, eventually becoming a school district administrator. His contributions had a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike.
In addition to his career in education, Harry spent time as a realtor and co-owner of Executive Homes Realty in Moorestown, NJ, where he helped families find their dream homes. He cherished spending time with family and friends in Ocean City, NJ, where many happy memories were created. Additionally, he was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, reflecting his strong commitment to faith and service. Harry’s legacy of leadership, generosity, kindness and love of cooking will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Thursday evening October 10th from 6 – 8 pm and Friday morning October 11th from 9 – 10 am. His funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ, followed by interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
