Hector Luis Santiago's Obituary
Hector Luis Santiago, of Maple Shade, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday morning, December 2, 2018. Born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico, he was 80 years old.
Hector was the beloved husband of Concepcion “Connie” Santiago (nee Coronado) for 37 years.
Loving father of Olga Heath and her husband Angel, Hector L. Santiago Jr. and his wife Margarita, Javier Santiago and his wife Lorraine, Wilson Hector Santiago, and Luis Hector Santiago.
Dear grandfather to Michael Sheldon and his wife Catherine, Kathleen Agront and her husband Sergio, Isabel Valentina Santiago, Givoanne Santiago, Dylan Santiago, and Angiemar Santiago. Step grandfather to Brittany Perez.
Great Grandfather of Sergio Luis Agront, Gabriel Agront, Nehemiah Agront, Brayden Michael Sheldon, Emerson Clark Sheldon, Julian Mejivar, and Savian Utlog.
Loving brother to Wilson Melendez, Guillermo Santiago, Delfina Santiago, Petra “Iris” Santiago, Delia Santiago, and Elidio Santiago. He is predeceased by his siblings Iris Rodriguez, Olga Serrano, Felix “Papo” Serrano, Luis Antonio “Coco” Serrano, Ana Santiago, Fermin Santiago, Ana Celia Santiago, Pablito Santiago, and Saul Santiago.
He is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Hector’s gathering at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main St., on Saturday, December 8th, from 10 am to 12 pm. His prayer service will begin at 12 pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Hector’s name may be made to the Alzhiemer’s Association, www.alz.org.
