Heidi H. Read (nee Houser) passed away peacefully on October 7, 2020 at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees. Born in Chambersburg, PA to Richard and Shirley Houser, Heidi was 59 years old and she was a resident of Mt. Holly and formerly Read Obituary
I just found out this evening that Heidi passed away back in October. This absolutely breaks my heart. Heidi hired me to manage the Dover Delaware Regis in July 2004. We immediately connected. She was a pistol. I loved her energy. The last 10 years have been hard on us but obviously extremely hard on Heidi. She was an amazing stylist, leader, amazing spirit . I will never forget her. My heart goes out to her daughter Jordan and husband because I know she loved them with every ounce of her being. Heidi was straight forward and didn't take any crap. I loved her spunk!! I've never forgot her. I'm so heartbroken for her family. RIP!!! Love to Jordan!! You were your mothers greatest accomplishment and the lighti of her life.
Heidi was a joy to be around. We met at the old Bennigan's in Mt Laurel in the early 80's. We've remained friends till this day. I'll definitely miss her. but she'll always have a place in my heart.💜
I met Heidi through mutual friends back in high school. What a crowd of characters and such good memories from that time in my life. Later on Heidi and I became close and we shared a lot of special times; she was a force to reckon with and always a source of joy and laughter. My dear friend was a special lady with a deep love of her faith and of her daughter Jordan. I am going to miss you, your laughter, your side-eye, and your never ending positivity. Love you Heidi
My husband and I were Heidi's landlords. We could not have been luckier to have found her to rent our attached apartment. She was a lovely person and so kind to us always. Once I messed up my hair dye so badly that she dropped everything to go get supplies and help me fix it. When she cooked soup for the soup kitchen it smelled heavenly through the whole house. Even while being so sick she would stop with a smile to chat a minute. We were truly blessed to have had her here, and we will miss her a bunch...Rip sweet lady.
