I knew Helen from St. Matthew Church and thought a lot of her. Back in the 80's she was a Sunday School teacher and I was asked to help her which I was glad to do. I was impressed by how deeply she felt the stories about Jesus--especially the crucifixion. When she told the young children (about 7 or 8) about what happened on Good Friday, she had tears in her eyes!
I also enjoyed having her wait on me at the Moorestown Post Office because she was the friendliest and most helpful clerk there!

I have such fond memories of your mom. I always enjoyed my after-school visits to your home on Monmouth Street, where I always felt welcome :-) Your mom always had a smile on her face and that smile was a huge part of what a beautiful woman she was, inside and out. I know your hearts are aching and I pray for you to find the strength to get through this sad time. My condolences to the whole Hopkins family and especially to my Hopkins "sisters", Karen and Mare.
