Helen Smyth's Obituary
Helen Smyth (nee Nahirniak), of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on May 3, 2022. Helen was born in Bukovyna, Ukraine to the late George and Maria Nahirniak. She was 79 years old.
Helen was the beloved wife of 52 years to Thomas Joseph Smyth; cherished mother of Anastasia Benowitz (Frank), Ellen Smyth, and Jessica Smyth (Richard Starke); adoring grandmother of Mia Smyth and Lloyd Starke; loving sister of Alexander Nahirniak (Luba) and Anna Leskiw (Walter). Helen was predeceased by her sisters, Lena Trycieckyj (Teodozij) and Anastasia Nahirniak. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her tremendously.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Monday, May 9th, from 8:30 am to 9:45 am. Her Eulogy and Funeral Mass will begin at 10:15 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ, followed by interment in Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA.
