Helen Stecher's Obituary
STECHER
Helen A. Stecher (nee Marrazzo) passed away on September 10, 2012 at the age of 89. She was the loving wife of Richard C. Stecher, beloved mother of Frances Welsh (Charles) and Kathleen Stecher, and dear Nana of Corinne and Marleen Welsh. Helen is also survived by her sister Gloria Combs; her late sisters Elizabeth Bucci, Sue Fenimore, Mabel Piergross, Mary Cugliotta, and Margaret Beck; her late brothers Francis, Anthony, Joseph, Domenic, and John Marrazzo; and her late parents Grace and Domenick Marrazzo.
Helen was born and raised in Riverside. She was a devout Catholic, attending St. Peter?s Church in Riverside and St. Joseph?s in Beverly throughout her life. Helen and Richard met at Riverside High School and were the only ones to marry a fellow graduate of the class of 1940. They were happily married for nearly 67 years. Helen will be remembered by family and friends for her kindness and strength. She was a dedicated family woman whose happiest times were spent with her siblings, husband, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Helen?s Life Celebration on Saturday at 9-10:15AM at Snover/Givnish?s of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, followed by her Mass at 11AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA. 02241-7005.
