Helga M. Izquierdo's Obituary
Helga Marie Izquierdo, 75, longtime resident of Willingboro, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday April 21, 2019.
Helga was born in Konigstein, Kreis Obertaunus province of Germany during World War II. At 19 years old Helga met her future husband Felix, a US military serviceman. Helga and her family eventually settled in New Jersey after her husband’s military career was complete. She was a homemaker for most of her life and always loved her role in raising her family.
Helga M. Izquierdo was the beloved wife of 58 years to her husband Felix Izquierdo. Helga was a loving mother to her three children Carmen Rivera(Eduardo), Michael Izquierdo, and Thomas Izquierdo. She was a caring grand mom to Eduardo Riveria, IV; Victoria Roberts(Richard), and Jonathan Izquierdo. Helga is survived, back home in Germany, by four of her Rathke siblings Inge, Hartmut, Horst, and Edeltraud.
A gathering of family and friends for Helga M. Izquierdo will be held on Friday April 26, 2019 at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Rt. 130 N., Cinnaminson, NJ 08077 from 4-6pm. Following the visitation a memorial service will begin at 6pm.
