Helmuth Hiller's Obituary
Helmuth Hiller, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on January 6, 2025 surrounded by his family. Born in Kautendorf, Staatz, Austria to the late Leopold and Hilda (nee Langschwert) Hiller, he was 84 years old.
Helmuth came to this country in June 1963 where he only planned to stay for one year but that plan soon changed as he met the love of his life at Dietz & Watson. Six months later, on November 30, 1963 they married and began their story. They then moved to Cinnaminson, NJ in the winter of 1967. Fast-forward to March of 1971 they opened what is now considered a landmark in Cinnaminson. They built a successful business that they worked tirelessly at for 34 years. Hiller’s Prime Meats.
In 2004, they decided to close and enjoyed 20 years of retirement together. If you know them, you know they were always together. Every minute, every hour, every day for 60 plus years of marriage, work and living life to the fullest.
Helmuth was the beloved husband of the late Monika Hiller (nee Bednarz), who passed away in July of 2024. He was the most loving dad of Ingrid Kelly and Claudia Szczepanek (Ed); cherished Opa of Corinna, Caitlin, Ethan, Dylan, and Sydney; dear brother of Leopold Hiller, Theresia Hiller, and Leopoldine Helm. Helmuth is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
