Henry Joseph Weber's Obituary
Henry Joseph Weber of Marlton, NJ passed away on October 9, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was 78 years old.
Henry was born to Thomas and Bertha Weber in Asheville, North Carolina. Henry was happily married to Cathleen Weber (Hughes) his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 57 years. He was a loving and devoted father to his two children, Karen Foedisch (Brian) and Tom (Christina); a cherished grandfather to Lauren Herman (Andrew), Matthew, Nicholas and Allison; a wonderfully adored great-grandfather to Harper and loving dog dad to Goldendoodle, Lucy. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
Henry and Cathleen began their life’s journey when they married on January 7, 1967. He served in the United States Army living in Texas before settling in Philadelphia.
With a career in insurance that spanned over 40 years, he used his knowledge and expertise to teach and inspire others in his field. In addition, Henry was actively involved in youth sports both coaching and counseling his son, Tom, and countless kids through the vigorous sports program at the Lawncrest Recreation Center.
Henry enjoyed good times at family gatherings, moving and grooving to the Oldies and family vacations down the Shore. He was a loyal Phillies and Eagles fan and took his job seriously as Master Griller at home barbecues. His true passion was time spent with family and friends playing cards or perfecting his golf game. Above all else, Henry cherished the time he spent with the love of his life, Cathleen, by his side.
Henry will best be remembered for his love of life, unwavering dedication to his family and his genuine care and support to so many who were blessed to call him a friend.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, October 17th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Church. Located at 605 Street Road, Warminster, PA, 18974. Immediately following the viewing, there will be a funeral mass beginning at 11:00 a.m., also at church. Burial will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA, privately at a later date
