Herbert R. Oman's Obituary
Herbert R. Oman, 93, of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2020. Dear father to Kathryn Macfarlan (Joe), Mark Oman, David Oman (Debbie), Chris Oman (Nicole). Grandfather to Steven, Jesse, Michele, Kristin, Jillian, Karina, Alana, Marissa, and Erika. Great grandfather to Reed.
Herb served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was very proud of his Swedish heritage and looked forward to his family reunions. He enjoyed watching military documentaries, the Phillies and spending time with his grandchildren. Herb will be missed by his friends at the Maple Shade VFW.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, August 31 at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street, from 10 to 11am with a service at 11am. Burial will follow at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maple Shade VFW, 914 E Main St, Maple Shade Township, NJ 08052.
