Herman L. Bard's Obituary
Herman L. Bard passed away peacefully on November 21, 2014 at his residence in Riverside, NJ. Born in Riverside, NJ, Herman was 90 years old. Predeceased by his parents Herman K. and Ella Bard. His sisters Eleanor, Clara, Irene and Betty. His beloved wife Mildred H. Bard and his dear friend Jesse Paul. His legacy is carried on by his children, Marcy (Ron) Bonstead, Susan (Joe) Gallagher, Stephen (Jean) Bard and Scott (Marlene) Bard. Grandfather of Krisy, Sean, Joyce, Melissa, Gavin and Dihlyn (Poppy's lil man). Great grandfather of Abby, Jimmy and Josh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Herman proudly served his country in the US Army Air Corps during WWII as a Staff Sergeant. Herman was a POW in Romania.
He retired after 40 years of service with RCA in Camden.
Herman enjoyed music and was a long time member of the Riverside Moravian Church and Covenant Presbyterian Church Choirs.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Herman's Life Celebration Saturday, November 29th, starting 10:30 a.m. at the Covenant Presbyterian Church 2611 New Albany Road, Cinnaminson, NJ. His Memorial Service will begin at 11 a.m.
