Hello. I was saddened to read of Vic's passing. Vic was my first boss at Rohm and Haas in 1984, and I learned a lot from him. I have thought of him often, and have shared my favorite Vic Mattei quote with with coworkers over the years: "Success has many fathers; failures only orphans." My condolences to the family.

I'm so sorry to read about Vic's passing. I didn't know him well, but I do keep up with
your family through Arlene. I have been thinking about you and wish you well.

Our condolences to the Mattei family.

As Associate Pastor for ten years at SCB, I was always inspired and encouraged by the faith and devotion of Vic and Marita and their family. He was truly a giving and loving man and these traits have been well established and transerred to his family. I mourn with you at his passing, but I rejoice at having been a part of his life for ten years.
Fr. Joe Connolly, TOR (1984-1994)
I remember, as a kid, as friend of Nanette's, as neighbor of Vic, him being a forerunner of the jogging craze, rounding our block over & over in his grey sweats, trimming off some extra pounds while working the cardiovascular, and his famous line to me when he came home from work, whenever Nanette & I were chilling on their porch: "What do you say there, Marc?". He was always kind and welcoming to me. Eighty-eight seems a lucky age to live to, especially if from what little I gather, he did most of it in good health. My heart goes out to Marita, Edamarie, Tory, & of course Nanette. Peace to you all. Your old neighbor, Marc
