Irene Desjardins Conklin's Obituary
Irene Desjardins Conklin passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly with her daughter by her side. Born in Philadelphia to Alfred and Kathryn Desjardins, Irene was 76 years old. Irene was a Cinnaminson resident and formerly lived in Brushton, NY. Loving mother of Barbara Brown and her husband Robert. Cherished “Rari” to her four grandchildren, Maryssa, Mychalynn, Emily, Connor, and her four great grandchildren, Sebastian, Brayden, McKenna and Vivian. Irene’s memory also lives on through her younger brothers and sister, Freddie, David and Louise.
Irene had many jobs throughout her years, but she was most recently employed as a Blackjack and Baccarat dealer for Akwesasne Mohawk Casino in Hogansburg, New York. She retired after 12 years of dedicated service. Irene enjoyed spending time with her family, watching crime shows and she was an avid foodie.
Irene’s funeral services were held privately.
