Iskandar "Alex" Aboud's Obituary
Iskandar “Alex” Aboud passed away suddenly on January 27, 2016 surrounded by his family at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden. Born in Kousba, El-Koura, Lebanon, Alex was 77 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson, NJ since 1969.
Alex received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from The Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science.
He was a retired chemist and was employed by Leatex Chemical Company in Philadelphia, PA.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Maryanna (nee Khabbaz) .
Loving father of Vivian (Douglas) Haughton, Robert (Samantha) Aboud and Laurie (Christopher) DiPasquale.
Grandfather of Janine Haughton, Vanessa Haughton, Tom Shakely, Alexander Aboud, Michael Aboud and Nicholas Aboud.
Brother of the late Barbour Aboud and the late Emil Abood.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alex's Life Celebration and viewing Monday 10 a.m to 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church 615 Mercer St. Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. His Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
