Jack Bush's Obituary
John “Jack” Bush, of Bayville, NJ, passed away suddenly at his home on January 7, 2018. He was 74 years old.
Jack was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Unto) for 46 years. Loving father of Johnny, Carolyn Ruggeri, Valerie Lindline, Jacqueline Kinkade, and Bryan (Patricia). Dear grandfather of Angela, Zachary, Rose, Victoria, Brianne, Kyle, Jaycob, Jake, Cameron, Koryn, Carly, and Kylee. Great grandfather of Kylea. Dear brother of Margaret, Linda, Donna, and Bob (Michelle), and brother-in-law of Dot. Jack is predeceased by his parents, John J. and Margaret Bush, and his siblings, Patricia, Kathleen, Gerry, Albert, and Chuck. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
Jack was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 19 for 50 years. He served his membership proud as one of the first Organizers, as Business Agent and Assistant Business Manager. He was a strong labor leader and paved the way for many union officials and members. He will be surely missed but never forgotten by the labor movement.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jack’s life celebration gathering at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main St., on Thursday evening from 5 – 9 pm and Friday morning from 9 – 10:30 am. His funeral Mass will begin at 11 am at St. Joan of Arc, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Route 70 in Cherry Hill.
