Jadon Keith Phillips' Obituary
Jadon Keith Phillips passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia after battling brain cancer for the past year. Born in Trenton, New Jersey to Caisse Gore and Keith Phillips on August 4th, 2003, Jadon lived a life full of joy, energy, and positivity. From the young age of five, Jadon exhibited an extraordinary sense of strength on the football field, a sport which he played for his entire life. He was passionate about football and lived to join his brothers on that field.
One of many siblings, Jadon always kept everyone laughing and smiling. His smile was contagious, his heart was golden, his sense of humor was infectious, and his determination to always get his way was unmatched. Music was his second passion. He often spent time listening to, writing, and recording songs. When he wasn’t on the football field, you could bet that he was somewhere rocking out to a good song and trying to encourage anyone around him to do the same. The beach was his happy place, there he would go fishing and crabbing with his dad, or hang out with friends on the boardwalk. His connection with nature was special, if he could have lived outdoors, he would have happily done that. He would stop at nothing to make his “Momma” proud, and she will forever be so very proud of him.
Jadon lived his life in a way that we should all take notes from. Some could call him a rebel, but the truth is that he stood for what he believed in, consistently, and passionately. He taught others to be kind, to be strong, to have faith in God, to walk in a life of integrity, and to believe in themselves. A motto that will carry on with his legacy forever.
He was a 2021 graduate of Delran High School where he played football and proudly wore jersey #44. Jadon Keith Phillips was the loving son of Caisse Gore, Keith Phillips and Ryan Gore Sr. and the cherished brother of Brooke Phillips, Tahjae Shaw, Jorden Gore, Ryan Gore Jr., Kristian Gore, Avery Gore and Theodore Clay, and the beloved grandson of Aurthurine Ames, Dr. Ronald Barnes, Mary Tucker, and Glenn Phillips, and Dr. Elizabeth Paddy, and great grandmother Juanita Phillips. He is also survived by his great Aunts, Pamela Phillips, Donna Williams, and Rene Phillips, and great Uncles, Marvin Ames and Herbert Keith Ames and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Let’s all live our lives to the fullest, as Jadon always did, and be #Jadonstrong together forever, because that is exactly what he would expect of us.
