James E. Bailey's Obituary
James E. Bailey, Sr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 with his son and daughter-in-law by his side. Born in Camden to Daniel and Irene Bailey, Jim was 74 years old. He had a courageous battle with Dementia for the last 4 years.
He was a resident of Arden Courts.
Loving father of James E. Bailey, Jr. and his wife Kat, cherished Grandpop to James Patrick Bailey. Beloved son of Irene and the late Daniel Bailey, Sr.
Brother of Daniel Bailey, Jr., Robin and Tommy Hunt and Richard Bailey(deceased).
Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jim proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Where he served as the supply coordinator on the USS America. He was employed as a union Boilermaker for Local #13 in Levittown, PA.
Jim enjoyed watching and playing soccer, taking long rides on his motorcycle, working out, the daily crossword puzzle, hunting and nothing more than spending time with his family!
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, September 14th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street, Jim’s Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
