James W. Barth's Obituary
James W. Barth, 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026, with his beloved wife by his side.
Born in Philadelphia, Jim grew up in Willingboro, and was a resident of Moorestown for the past 30 years. He is predeceased by his parents Dorothy E. Carlin and James H. Barth.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and dedicated his professional career to construction project management. He served as a construction project manager for Rowan University and, prior to that, for Jefferson Hospitals.
Jim was the devoted husband of 33 years to Michele (née Salvino). He was the loving brother of Susan (Bud) Hunley, Joseph (Nita) Barth, Sandie (Vinnie) Barth, and Thomas Barth. He was also the cherished brother-in-law of Tom (Michele) Salvino and Deborah M. Crawford. Jim is further survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved rescue chocolate Labrador, “Chief.”
A true animal lover, Jim had a special affection for his Labradors and Goldens. He also spent many hours working outside and took pride in having the nicest yard around. Jim also had a deep love of music and enjoyed playing guitar. He also played auxiliary percussion with the Golden Eagle Community Band
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ.
Jim’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2600 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
