James Bernard Chiolino's Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James Bernard Chiolino, on March 5, 2015, at age 89. He was a resident of Delran NJ since 1961.
Jim was born October 21, 1925 in Albany, New York. He was the 6th child of Battista and Maria Chiolino and was raised in Ludlow, Vermont. Jim graduated from The University of Vermont in 1949 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Jim married Eleanor Marie Guerin, October 14, 1961. They enjoyed 52 yrs together until her passing in January 2014. Jim was an avid sports fan, and loved playing tennis. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend to all. Jim was an active member of the VFW Post 3020, Riverside NJ and a member of the American Legion Ludlow VT.
Left to forever cherish his memory are his beloved daughter Diane Burgess (Raymond) and grandchildren, Raymond and Dana. Also left to mourn are his niece, Linda (Neil) Marshall of Calgary, Canada, and nephews, Paul Chiolino (Sue) of Russelville, Arkansas, and Michael (Kathy) Chiolino of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jim’s Life Celebration at Snover Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. Wed. March 11 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday March 12, 10:30am at Resurrection Parish, St. Casimir’s site, 502 New Jersey Ave, Riverside, NJ.
Interment will follow at Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd. Wrighstown. NJ.
