James Patrick Clear 's Obituary
James P. Clear of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away on September 25. He was 76 years old. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and proudly served his country in the US Army from 1960-1962. Jim retired from the Moorestown School District maintenance department. Since his retirement he was active in the Holiday Village community in Mount Laurel and enjoyed spending time in Sea Isle City, NJ. Jim was preceded in death by his sisters Mary and Patricia, and his brother William. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Patricia (nee McLaughlin), his daughter Carolyn E. Clear and his son Michael W. Clear (Donna). He was the loving grandfather of Ryan, James, Leah, Emily, Xavier, and Ava. He is also survived by his sisters Helen Pilecki (Bud) and Margaret Ugolick (Paul) and many nieces and nephews and his grand dog Lucky. Finally, he is survived by several in-laws and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jim’s Life Celebration and viewing on Friday morning from 8:30am to 10:00am at Givnish Funeral Home of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street Maple Shade, NJ. His funeral mass will follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, 42 W. Main Street Moorestown, NJ. Interment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ with Military honors . In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Jim’s name to The American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034 or JDRF 1415 Route 70 Suite 311 Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034.
