James J. Dagastine's Obituary
James “Jimmy” J. Dagastine, 81, of Marlton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at his residency.
Born in Bridgeton, NJ, Jimmy was the son of the late Joseph and Emma Dagastine. He proudly made Marlton his home since 1980, where he built a life centered on family, service, and quiet dedication.
Jimmy honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. Following his military service, he worked as a computer technician before switching to telecommunications.
Above all else, Jimmy cherished his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Gail (née Girillo); his loving children, Krissie, Kathlene, Jim, and John; and eight grandchildren who brought him immense joy: Peyton, Cheyenne, Ellie, Max, Sophia, Gia, Xander, and Avery. Jimmy was predeceased by his siblings, Joe and Brenda.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, Marlton, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, NJ. Military Honors will follow the Mass.
