James A. Fitzpatrick's Obituary
James Andrew Fitzpatrick, affectionately known as “Jimmy Fitz” to those who knew and loved him, passed away on November 12, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (nee McCabe) Fitzpatrick, he was 71 years old.
Jimmy's great sense of humor and playfulness allowed him to make many great friends over the years and despite moving his "corner" from Pennypack to Ramblewood Country Club, he never forgot his boyhood friends or his roots in NE Philly. He had a successful career in the insurance industry until he retired and refocused his talents on the golf course with varied degrees of success. He was also a proud graduate of Father Judge High School. Jimmy was a great friend to many, and a devoted son as he was the primary caregiver for his mother Elizabeth Fitzpatrick before her passing. Jimmy will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his beloved siblings, Joseph Fitzpatrick (Bernice “Bunny”), Francis Fitzpatrick (Joanna), and Maureen Maichrowycz (Zan). He was the cherished “Uncle Jimmy” for many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, November 18th, at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, from 10 am to 11 am. A memorial service will begin at 11 am.
