James Edward Huff's Obituary
James Edward Huff, of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away on June 10, 2026. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Terry Lee Sr. and Maureen (née Buckley) Huff, he was 60 years old.
A lifelong resident of the area, James was a graduate of Maple Shade High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was also involved with the Indian Guides, where he enjoyed the friendships and experiences that came with being part of the organization.
James shared many happy years with his significant other, Barbara Decker. He is survived by his brothers, Terry L. Huff Jr. and Kevin P. Huff.
James was known for being talkative and could often strike up conversations with those around him. His direct manner and sense of humor were familiar to many who knew him.
James enjoyed spending his free time pursuing a variety of interests. He loved golfing, playing billiards, challenging friends to a game of chess, and expressing his creativity through art. He was also an avid fan of Dungeons & Dragons and enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers. Whether sharing stories, enjoying a hobby, or spending time with family and friends, James embraced life with enthusiasm and humor.
He will be deeply missed by Barbara, his brothers, extended family, and many friends whose lives he touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of James on Thursday, June 25th from 5 to 7 pm. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm. All to take place at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ 08052.
