James A. Procacci's Obituary
James A. Procacci passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022, his 95th birthday, at Cadbury in Cherry Hill. Born in Camden to Luigi and Maria Procacci, Jim was one of nine children.
Beloved husband of the late Rosaria “Rose” Procacci. Loving father of Maria C. Leto and Louis J. Procacci (Marie E. Lihotz). Cherished grandfather of Carlo Leto, Jaime Leto, Christina M. Procacci (Anthony Tolentino) and Joseph L. Procacci (Amanda Kimball). Great grandfather of Reina (Gaege) Leto, Zoey and Greta Tolentino, Vincenzo and Isabella Procacci.
Jim was predeceased by his 8 siblings Rose, Cataldo, Anthony, Michael, Nancy, Mary, Michael S. and Anita.
Jim proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII.
Jim joined the family produce sales and distribution business which started in Camden. He later established Mt. Vernon Tomato Company Inc. and Procacci Grapes along with brothers Cataldo and Michael S. with the business later moving to Thorofare, NJ.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, July 12th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
His Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m.
Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
