James G. “Jim” Robinson III, of Cinnaminson, passed away peacefully at his home on November 28, 2021. He was 72 years old. Jim was the beloved husband of Jennie E. Robinson (Woodruff) for 49 years; cherished son of Catherine Robi Read Obituary
Cousin Jimmy was so special. He brought Joy to everyone he met up with. When we were kids, he came for a visit for a couple of days. We had a few chickens. Jimmy would lay for over an hour on the ground to catch a chicken lay egg. Well as soon as he left, the hens laid their eggs. He went out every day trying to see if he could catch one laying the egg. I know my Dad got a kick out of him. PS he never saw one lay an egg.

I met Jim during my first teaching stint at NAS. He was a great colleague. We also shared many fun adventures at 5th Grade Camp. About 10 years ago I was driving Jim to his appointment at Penn Medicine. Although I knew he was nervous, he was his usual wise cracking self., as he directed me in lane changing, for he knew that route all too well. When we pulled up the valet knew him, the cashier knew him and many of the patients on the exam floor knew him. His kindness, his humor, the respect that he showed others were recognised and appreciated by so many. He left ringing the bell that morning as people clapped and called out his name. I have never forgotten that experience but was not surprised because that's who Jim was. He was a great teacher and even a better man. RIP, Jim and our condolences to the family.

As I've told you, I am stunned to learn of Jimmy's passing. He has, in you, a loving tribute for a life well-lived, and will be cherished always. I remember as kids, when the Robinson's came for an over night visit to us in Limerick, Jimmy and I decided to take an old canvas and make a tent across Mom's clothes line to sleep outside. Well, that lasted about 5 minutes as we were being eaten alive by the mosquitoes! Inside we went on the living room floor as there were no beds with six adults, 10 kids and 1 baby (Debbie). I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. It was such a joy to teach with him for so many years. He was so full of spirit, easy-going, helpful to so many teachers and students, always having a huge smile on his face...a truly wonderful person. You will be greatly missed, Jim!

Mr. Robinson was a WONDERFUL teacher. He always made physical education fun and really cared about his students! We always were so glad when he subbed for other teachers.He was a truly kid person who touched everyone he met in a positive way. The world will be a little less bright with him not in it. RIP Mr. Robinson!🙏🏻❤️
He was always making us laugh. We loved when he was a sub for any class because he actually cared about us. What a sweet man, may he Rest In Peace.
