Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Mr. Shields. We know that he is happy and healthy at Home in Heaven now, but the grief stays with those left behind. Cherish the memories that you have of an amazing man; father, father-in-law, grandfather, friend, etc. It is those memories that will keep him close with you always.
I worked with Jim for many years at the Courier-Post and had a lot of good times. We were partners in a boat that brought more good times and many stories!(Jim never did go swimming) Rest in peace Jimmy. My deepest sympathy to the family and may God comfort you.
