James E. Theisen's Obituary
James E. Theisen passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in Cherry Hill, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, Jim was 69 years old. He was a resident of Cherry Hill since 1984. Beloved son of Elaine (nee Gindhart) Theisen and the late Zane Theisen. Husband of the late Venice J. (nee Ghegan). Loving father of James (Kim Toon) Theisen, Denise (Brian) Smith and Paul Theisen. Devoted Pop-Pop to Sarah, Jimmy, Tyler and Emma. Brother of Robert (Sandi), Elaine "Button" Bevilacqua, John (Gina), Barbara Garson and Deborah (Les) Snyder. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jim proudly served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant. Jim was a computer programmer/engineer for Lockheed Martin in Moorestown.
Jim enjoyed gardening, bicycling and listening to classical music.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jim's Life Celebration and gathering Sunday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade 600 East Main Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Tender 16 E. Main St. Moorestown, NJ 08057 www.thetender.org to support the daily care for Alziemher patients.
