Jim was so very kind and giving. I don't think he had a mean streak in him. He was so super smart. You could ask him a question or talk about any subject and he had the answer. Drove me crazy. Everyday he would cook his brown rice with onions and peppers and a fried egg on top. He had a project to work on all the time. He was not one to ever sit around and do nothing. He loved it when Johnny and Gina and girls would come over or we would go there. He was my rock when Paul was born and very sick. He was there with all of Paul troubles these past 3 years. And Paul and I are so very grateful.
I have so many more memories good and bad with Jim and will remember always. Thanks You Jim for a beautiful son and sharing your children with me.

So many good times when he visited here with the kids while stuck in the apartment between moving out of one house and into another. Memories of floating flashlights, turkey legs, jokes about one armed hookers,visits to Trexlers Game Preserve, Gina and I going into a store only to come out and find the van violently rocking back and forth while he led the kids singing "I love rock and roll". Him saying "Holy (whatever) Batman" in any particular situation for no particular reason. "we're out of beer!"- it only happened once, but it somehow became necessary to say it at least once every time we saw each other Teaching me how to play chess in 4th grade while also getting me addicted to coffee at the same time.Camping at Assateaque and being almost too stubborn to sleep in the camper when his tent got flooded.The memories go on and on and will always be with me
Dear family, I am so sorry to hear of my cousin and friend Butch's passing. I know that this will leave a big hole in your hearts as it really does so in mine, Butch was funny, happy, a bit crazy but best of all he was family and friend, we will all miss his presence among us. God speed Butch, Semper Fi brother.
Please let everyone know they are in my thoughts. I am sorry I cannot be with you.

I have good memories of Butch from my mom's (Aunt Elsie's) family cookouts. He was fun to be around and a very caring person.
