Born in Quakertown, PA, James was the beloved son of Richard and Mary (née Krautzel) Yodis. He was a devoted husband to Amy Lynn Yodis (née Atzert), with whom he shared 20 years of marriage, and a loving, proud father to Allison, Madison, and Ava Yodis, who were the center of his world.
James was a dear brother to Tracy Vargo (Mark), Kelly Yodis, and Andrew Yodis (Kim), and a cherished brother-in-law to Jimmy Beveridge; Kristin Klotz (Bill); Brittany Ashton; Josh Atzert (Ryann); Lindsey Mincer; Kara Genzer (Mark); and Matt LeClair. He is also survived by his grandfather-in-law, Richard Essex, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
A dedicated and hardworking man, James worked as a foreman for PKF-Mark III in Newtown, PA, and spent many years in masonry and construction. Known as a true “man of all trades,” he took great pride in working with his hands. He especially loved gardening and recently completed a kitchen renovation, a project that brought him immense satisfaction and showcased his skill and craftsmanship. He was a big Philadelphia Eagles fan, and loved to go fishing in his spare time.
Above all else, James was a devoted family man. He rarely missed one of his daughters’ sporting events and was their biggest supporter, always present, encouraging, and proud.
James will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his generosity, and his unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
