I have had several days now to think about my life with Jane and now without her. I tried very hard to think about anytime that she had hurt my feelings or made me mad. Guess what...I couldn't think of one instance. Jane only ever took care of me. Year after year after year. And when it came about that I could help her, I did without even thinking about it. Because that is what she taught me. Even during her most horrible, painful time, she always asked me how I was. She never gave a thought to herself. She always thought about everyone else all of the time.
Without my Murphy, McCracken and Swanson families, I could not think about going on without Jane because we all will treasure Jane with all of our hearts. Always and forever...we will love you and miss you, our Jane. God rest your soul, Jane, and God bless. And thank you Lord for giving us such a wonderful light in our lives.
Summer days in Cape May on the beach laughing. Sharing libations and popping into the Rusty Nail for beach snacks. Pizza nights on the beach watching the sunset. Wearing Mickey Mouse lighted ears and trying to fly kites. Wearing as much sand as she possibly could and loving it. Breakfast at McGlades and the Mad Batter. Walking along the Cove Beach to the Lighthouse watching for dolphins and searching for the perfect beach stone that "sung" to her. Jane loved every minute because she was spending time with family. These are such happy, fun, forever memories of our dear dear friend, dear sister-in-law, and dear aunt.
