Jane Winterton's Obituary
Jane Winterton (nee Bugbee) passed away peacefully on November 14, 2017 at her residence in Cinnaminson with her husband by her side. Born in Boston, MA, Jane was 77 years old. Beloved wife of 39 years to Philip J. Winterton. Stepmother of Michael (Caroline) Winterton. Grandmother of Elizabeth and Caitlin. Sister of Barbara (Peter) Roggeveen.
Jane was a resident of Cinnaminson for the last 18 years and formerly lived with her husband in Hanson, MA, Glassboro, NJ and Pitman, NJ.
Jane received her BA form Boston University. She was employed as an executive secretary for Anthony J. Jannetti (a medical publishing company) in Pitman, NJ.
Jane loved to travel and over the years had visited many places in several continents, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Amsterdam, Sweden and Lapland being some of them. There were also many others along with several visits to England with her husband.
Jane loved her rescued cats and throughout the many years these included Spooky, Christy, Scottie, Mikey, Shadow and Jill. Currently they are Jack and Seymour, who will be missing her badly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jane’s Life Celebration and viewing Monday, November 20th, from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. Her Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
