Janice P. DiFiore's Obituary
Janice P. DiFiore (Colangelo) a caring wife, mother, daughter and friend. She passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on Sunday October 10, 2021, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with her husband, daughter and family members by her side. Janice was a beloved wife of 44 years, to her husband Michael D. DiFiore and loving mother of Kristin M. DiFiore. Janice is also survived by her mother Ida Colangelo, her mother-in-law, Joan DiFiore, her sister-in-law, Donna (Terry) Carmody, her brother-in-law, Paul DiFiore (Chrystal), nephew Ryan and niece Carley.
Janice was born to Samuel and Ida Colangelo on November 24, 1952. Janice was raised in Pennsauken, NJ and a graduate of Camden Catholic High School.
Janice was employed as a customer service representative for A&P/Super Fresh Food Markets and most recently Murphy’s Fresh Markets. She was a dedicated employee and passionate about her supermarket career that she shared with her father and father-in-law. Jan was a member of the Teamsters UFCW Local 1360 for 45 years.
Janice enjoyed being a wife and mother where she was very involved in school activities in her early years. She enjoyed spending summers at the Jersey Shore, specifically North Wildwood where her parents lived. Also, enjoyed many years of boating with her family and friends on the Mullica River. She had a passion for all animals and opened her home and heart to many rescue animals. Janice was a joy to be around and the one thing you could always count on was her contagious smile, compassion for others and kindness.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 20th, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Givnish Funeral Home Marlton, 398 East Main Street. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of St. Isaac Jogues, 349 Evesboro-Medford Road, Marlton, NJ.
Social distancing will be in effect and masks are required both at the funeral home and church. The burial will be held privately with the family.
