Jarrot E. Nelson's Obituary
Jarrot Earl Nelson, Jr. of Westampton, New Jersey, was born on December 20 1951; the third child of the late Margaret Lawrence Nelson and Jarrot Earl Nelson, Sr. of Summerton, SC. Jarrot made his transition unexpectedly on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Prior to relocating, Jarrot was an educator in the Clarendon and Sumter School Districts.
Jarrot is survived by his son, James Alton (Giovanna) Ford; granddaughter, Tanjanique Ford; his beloved friend and former wife, Margaret Boger; three sisters, Maggie (Roger) Collins, Patricia (Freeman) Daniels, Sarah (Charles) Redmond; two brothers, George Johnson and Lee Roy(Beverly) Campbell. Special cousins, Margo Lee, Gloria Farmer, Sheila (Sidney) Perrin.
Jarrot loved his family unconditionally and cherished his relationships with all of his nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was notorious for his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit; Jarrot’s smile lit up a room, and he always brought fun and laughter with him. Family and friends will celebrate Jarrot’s life at a later date.
