Jean M. Schmitz's Obituary
Jean M. Schmitz (nee McMahon) passed away peacefully on May 6, 2018 at her residence in Marlton surrounded by her children. Born in New York City, Jean was 87 years old.
Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Richard J. Schmitz, Sr.
Loving mother of Stephen Schmitz, Jean Marie Schmitz, and Patricia Schmitz. Jean is predeceased by her son Richard J. Jr. and infant son Joseph.
Grandmother of Brian, Timothy, Zachary, Noah, Siobhan and Alexandra.
Great grandmother of Ryan and Benjamin.
Sister of Russell and Winifred. Jean is predeceased by her siblings Vivian, Dorothy, John, Matthew, Peter, Thomas, Vincent, Mary, Patricia, Robert, Donald, Bernadette and Adrienne.
Jean was a faithful parishioner of The Catholic Church of St. Mary.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday 6:30-9 p.m. and Saturday 9-10:15 a.m at The Catholic Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. Her Funeral Mass will follow 10:30 a.m.
Interment to follow at Locustwood Memorial Park.
