Jeanette Ruth Feo's Obituary
Jeanette R. “Jean” Feo (nee Seelhorst) passed away peacefully on April 29, 2017, age 90, NJ, formerly of Cinnaminson, Pennsauken and Merchantville. Jean was a graduate of Merchantville High School class of 1944. Jean started working as a service representative for New Jersey Bell; she worked for Camden County Freeholders Office as a Senior Accounting Clerk and at a CPA firm. She was trained as an Ophthalmological Assistant and in later years worked as a licensed Real Estate Agent for Willson Realty. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Ralph Feo and a devoted mother to her late son, Ralph F. Feo, daughters Janet A. (Harry) Messina and Donna J. (Michael) Holmes both of Savannah, GA, dear grandmother of Kristine Higgins and Michael Holmes, one great grandchild. Throughout her lifetime Jean enjoyed singing, first in St. Cecelia and St. Charles Borromeo choirs, and later as a member of the Garden State Chorale. She enjoyed playing pinochle, going to antique shows, and being with her family. She was known for her special parties and welcoming personality. Jean loved ice cream and you would always see her with a cup of coffee nearby. Jean and Ralph especially enjoyed spending time in Avalon and having dinner at their favorite restaurant, Busch’s. Jean will be remembered for her devotion to her family, friendly smile and her beautiful blue eyes. Her Funeral Mass was held privately at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Cinnaminson. Entombment, by her husband’s side, followed at Lakeview Mausoleum, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean’s memory to American Diabetes Association.
