Loving grandmother of Ryan, Jennifer (Zachary), Daniel (Melissa), Joseph III, Jacqueline, Caitlin (Nicholas), Amanda, Kevin, and Kelly. Devoted Great grandmother of Lily, Josette, and Grayson, and devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews. Jeanne is preceded in death by her siblings Joanne “Cookie” Lotierzo, Harry Ringheiser, and Margaret Ringheiser.
While growing up, she was an avid sprinter and won many competitions. Jeanne attended St. Hubert High School. After high school, she went to work as a Key Punch Operator at Fine Arts Sterling Silver in the PSFS building in Philadelphia. She was a hard worker and very diligent with her work duties. She met her husband, Joe, when she was 21 years old at a Polish Home dance in Philadelphia. They were married in 1956 at Nativity BVM Church in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. After the birth of her first child, she became a devoted homemaker and centered her life around her family. While living in Sharon Hill PA, she enjoyed taking her kids to the swim club, helping with their sports activities, and volunteering at the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. Jeanne was a dog lover, evidenced by her wonderful and devoted care for her rescue dog, Toby, and stray dog, Dutch.
Jeanne enjoyed vacationing in Wildwood NJ, where she spent most of her time on the boardwalk with her children and grandchildren. She loved trips to the casino to play the slot machines. She took pleasure in her annual bus trips to Williamsburg VA with her sister and daughters for Christmas shopping. She was an avid Phillies fan and watched almost every game on TV with her husband Joe. Her favorite player was Pat Burrell and she was delighted in seeing the team win the World Series in 2008. Every Sunday she attended mass at Resurrection Parish, where she was an active volunteer. She also was a charitable supporter of St. Jude Hospital. Jeanne was an amazing storyteller and took delight in sharing her life experiences with friends and family. She had a fantastic memory, and never forgot a name or date, and she never missed calling family members on their birthdays. Jeanne loved making memories and capturing them with pictures, hundreds of which fill her home with joy and light.
Jeanne was our angel, her kind heart and radiant smile lit up the room. Even in her passing, her legacy will live on through everyone she has touched. The numerous lessons she taught her children and grandchildren will be passed down from generation to generation, and will never be forgotten. Jeanne was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by many.
