Jeffrey S. Sylvia's Obituary
Jeffrey S. Sylvia, of Mount Laurel, NJ, formerly of Malvern, PA, passed away after a brief illness at his home, surrounded by family, on September 24, 2021. Born in Eatontown, NJ, he was 53 years old.
Jeff was a fun loving, one-of-a-kind man. He was an amazing father, partner, son, brother, and friend. He was known to go out of his way to help people. Those who knew and loved him could always count on being greeted with “That Handshake” along with, “Hey Pal.” Jeff was a talented chef, currently managing at Sun Valley Pizza in Bryn Mawr, PA before he fell ill. He will be missed so very much by his family and friends, whom he always kept laughing.
Jeff is survived by his beloved life partner of 11 years, Debra Ruszkowski; his loving father John “Jack” Sylvia and his wife Marion; his cherished daughter, Jordan Sylvia, and her mother, Kathryn Sylvia; his dear brother, Kevin Sylvia (Rachel) and their children, Carter and Meredith.
Jeff was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Paige Sylvia (nee Boroski).
A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, October 16th, from 1 pm to 4 pm at Orchard Ridge, 700 Summer Lane, Pottstown, PA 19465.
