My thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace go out for Ina and Michael, as well as everyone who knew and loved Jess. It's hard to believe he is gone because I remember him as so full of life. Many many memories of a kind man with soft eyes and a gruff voice. Godspeed, Uncle Jess.
I know I speak for the whole "Pepperell Kids" group, of which Jess was a member,when we pray for the Lord's comfort for the family. As much as you wanted to keep him, God wanted him more and someday you will be able to join him. I loved reading the stories and seeing the pictures that Jess would post after every trip back to Europe.

Arnold, as we knew him early in life, is my First Cousin. I lived next door to him as a child, Although he was several years older than me I can remember him as a good guy. After he left for the Army I lost touch. We saw each other when his Dad died and recently stay in touch via Facebook. He was very interested in the genealogical work I was doing on our family. His death came as a surprise and I wish I had stayed in closer touch.

Although I did not know him at a personal level, I do know that he was truly loved by his beloved Ina. I am happy to know that I have made him smile, and laugh with a slight chuckle a few times. My deepest condolences go out to the family.
