Jill F. Gibbs' Obituary
Jill F. Gibbs, of Cherry Hill NJ, sadly lost her battle against pancreatic cancer on March 23, 2025. She was 59 years old, and surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Michael T Fischetti and beautifully strong Patricia Fischetti. Devoted and beloved wife of Mark J. Gibbs for 31 amazing years. She is survived by her two daughters Cecelia M. Gibbs and Olivia P. Gibbs. Along with being a wonderful daughter, wife, and mother she is lucky enough to have made a lasting impact on her siblings Michael T. Fischetti (Lisa), Mark C. Fischetti (Holly), and Lisa A. Madden(Pud). She will always be remembered as the fun loving, caring aunt to her adoring nieces, Lauren Schwarz (Ken), Jillian Ficchi (Frank), Kaitlin Madden, and great nephews Kayden and Kellen Schwarz.
Jill was a special person with the rare ability to touch people’s lives within minutes of knowing them. She was adored in all aspects of her life: as a Litigations Coordinator at Reed Smith LLP for over 37 years, in her time at Hallahan Catholic High School, and as she entered into adulthood. She enjoyed music, art, movies, and especially spending time with her beloved family and friends. Her love for music brought her to adoring husband, Mark at a Cars concert. They spent a blessed 41 years together traveling and living life to the fullest. As a wife, she was the most caring, selfless, and special woman. As a mother, she exuded the same characteristics. Simply put, she was the best there was. She will forever be missed and loved plus, minus, infinity. Relatives and friends are invited to Jill’s funeral Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00pm and Friday 9:00am to 10:30am at Givnish’s of Maple Shade (600 E. Main St.). Her funeral Mass will follow 11:00am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jill’s name may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) www.Chop.edu
