Joan and Kenneth Cooper's Obituary
Joan M. Cooper and Kenneth J. Cooper passed away peacefully within a week of each other. Joan on February 7, 2020 and Kenneth on February 12, 2020. Dear parents to Bryan Cooper (Mary Anne), Arthur Cooper and Laura Myers (Ben). Beloved grandparents to the late Meghann Cooper and David Cooper. Joan and Kenneth were both preceded in death by their siblings.
Kenneth and Joan were married for 66 years, although they have known each other almost their whole lives. Joan enjoyed doing ceramics and crocheting. Kenneth was an avid fisherman and woodworker. They spent many weekends down the shore in Mystic Islands, NJ. Joan and Kenneth traveled frequently. Some of their favorite trips include when they went to Italy with the St. John Neumann Choir to sing at the Vatican for The Pope and their trip to Alaska. They took many cruises all around the world.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, February 20th at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street, from 6pm to 9pm, with a prayer service, Knights of Columbus service and Eulogies beginning at 7:30pm and again on Friday morning from 9:00am to 10:00am. Their funeral mass will be celebrated at St. John Neumann at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Colestown, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage https://www.vaonj.org/
