Joan Danielwicz's Obituary
Joan Danielwicz (nee Shober), of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on September 25, 2024. Born in Lansford, PA to the late James and Ann (nee Dougherty) Shober, she was 87 years old.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late Walter Danielwicz; loving mother of Patti Danielwicz, David Danielwicz (the late Marjorie), and the late Nancy Danielwicz; cherished Nana of James, Laura, and Michael. Joan was one of ten siblings and is survived by her sister, Ann Heffelfinger. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her greatly.
Joan was a registered nurse and last worked for Temple East Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, on Tuesday October 1st from 8:30 – 10:30 am. Her Mass will follow at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade, followed by entombment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Mausoleum of the Apostles, 1300 Route 130 North in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan may be made to Autism Speaks, www.autismspeaks.org.
