I met Joni in 2011, at that time, we were 2 RNs with no job. I shared with her that if I didn't get a job soon, I would loose my house. Joni got straight to work on this matter. She started networking within her church and found us many jobs. She would split her hours with me, we had enough work to take us thought the unemployment period. Her friendship was unconditional. My condolences to the family, she will be missed forever.

You made life better for the many you "nursed" with your compassion, care and gentle kindness. Sweet, bold, funny loving woman who raised 6, yes 6, wonderful children. You were truly an angel in disguise and will be missed. Knowing you are with Rose and Freddie, and yes Donna, is comforting. Wishing you comfort in God's arms. See you guys later.

In Nov of 2016 I lost my best friend to breast cancer. I prayed to her and asked her to send me an angel. The very next month I met you through a post on Facebook and we became fast friends. Then in January I got the flu and ended up in ICU. They had pick lined my carotid and after being there for 4 days was ready to be discharged. I was terrified. At the time I was caretaker of a 92 yr old man and was afraid to be alone. So what do you do? You take me into your home give me your room and take care of me for 3 weeks!! My friend truly did send me an angel. All the people you have helped thru the years. Your prison ministry even going to other countries to help the sick and the poor! You will never ever be forgotten and always loved.
